| 3. | What do I do if I'm in the Laundry Room & I see some one vandalizing the machines? |
| | Excellent Question - Just today, May 13th a man damaged Top Load Washer # 19 (right across from the long row of dryers). A good customer called us at 530-570-0127 and reported it. We were able to immediatly review our security tapes and collect good photo's - thanks to Certified Security Systems and identified the culprit - even he was wearing a hat and non-descript brown jacket. So if you see someone misusing or damaging the Laundry Room equipment, just give us a call - We will take it from there. |

| 4. | Why can't someone start theirwash after 8:30 if you are open until 10 PM? |
| | Good question - it takes roughly 30-40 minutes to run a load of wash through a short cycle. It takes another 30-45 minutes to dry a load. It typically takes a someone another 15 minutes to fold thier laundry. The total cycle time is typically between an hour and 15 minutes to as much as an hour and 40 minutes. |

| 5. | If I use a front load washer, do I need to use as much detergent? |
| | Excellent Question - Typically you will only need to use 1/3 -1/2 the amount of detergent in a front load washer. The high speed extraction ensures the detergent is efficiently used and then removed from your laundry. |

|
| 6. | Why are the front load washers so expensive? |
| | Good question - the front load washers can wash from 2 1/2 to 5 times the amount of laundry that a typical top load washer can. In addition to the ability to do very large loads at one time - saving you lots of time, you use less detergent. That amounts to a nice savings for you on each visit to the laundry. Finally, since the front load washers have a high speed extraction process that removes most of the water, the drying time for laundry done in a front load washer is shorter.
All things considered if you have enough laundry to fill up a larger front load washer, it will save you time and money plus do a better job of cleaning your laundry! |

| 7. | What is a "cool down" period on a dryer? |
| | Very Good Question - many laundry owners work diligently to lower thier costs to provide you more value for your money. One questionable practice is to set the dryers to shut off the heat the last 2 minutes of each drying cycle. The idea is the laundry owner pays less in utilities and you get less for your money At The Laundry Room there is no "cool down" setting. You get (7) full minutes of drying time for 25 cents. In addition to that you can select from (3) different temperature settings to make sure you get your laundry done in the shortest time possible. |

| 8. | What is The Laundry Rooms Policy on Refunds? |
| | Good Question - If a machine fails you for any reason, just give us a call and we will gladly refund your money. No filling out forms and waiting for a refund.
We do recommend you ALWAYS look in the washer or dryer you are getting ready to use. From time to time the previous customer may not have left the machine in a "clean" condition. Their mess could easily be transferred to your laundry. This is the one instance we will typically decline to refund your money. We can not be responsible for other folks leaving a mess behind nor can we be responsible for you not "looking before you leap". |
