 The Laundry Room - established in 1985 The Laundry Room was established in 1985 with the goal of providing our customers the best coin-operated laundry services and facilities in the area. We realized that your time was precious and spending it doing laundry, while necessary, was not the highest and best use of your time. So we set out to simplify the process and make it as easy and painless to do as possible. As the years have gone by we have added new washers and dryers to let that goal become a reality. We continue to add new services that will further reduce the time you spend doing the laundry. Our new Fluff & fold Service is just the next step in that process. Company History The Laundry Room was established in 1985 by Jim & Erika Fallbeck. They worked closely with industry expert Bob Moffitt to design a state of the art facility. Their vision in 1985 was to provide a place that had plenty of room to work, lots of space for folding your clothes and an atmosphere that was more like the laundry room you would have in your home. They added excellent customer service to the mix and The Laundry Room was born. When Jim & Erika moved out of the Chico Area to pursue other business interests, they recruited Paul Mallory to carry the torch for them and ensure what they built up over the years did not falter. Then in 2003 the Fallbeck's decided to sell the business. The business was sold to a new company, We'nterprises, Inc. owned by Bob & Cathy Wert. An extensive remodeling of the business was undertaken. New top load washing machines replaced all of the old units. A number of new commercial size front load washing machines were added over the next 2 years as well as some new features. Over the last 4 years Amanda Wert-Sudicky has managed the business.
